My Law Foundations tutor is a strong believer in understanding philosophy in order to understand the development of Law through time or some such thing. We're also going to be doing The French, American and English revolutions, as well the Industrial revolution and something else which i now forget. The first 4-5 weeks of this class are pretty much just a history lesson, with some phisophical reasoning thrown in. Not sure whether this is a good or a bad ting yet, but I've never studied this stuff in much detail before so maybe it'll be ok?
why are you learning about Kant, Locke and Marx?
